Artichoke Bread -copied

Dear Family & Friends,

I love reading blogs because I do get a lot of inspirations from other bloggers who unselfishly share the things they do. Recently, I saw and read from http://timetocookonline.com/2013/08/26/artichoke-bread. Visit this blog because she does come up with interesting food ideas. She posted about Artichoke Bread and you can read more on this!

My big girl bakes bread by hand on Saturdays, that's when she've got no homeschooling work to do. ...but only after doing their weekend thorough house cleaning chores too;P

Her usual bread recipe:
75 ml oil (sunflower or olive), 400 ml warm water, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp sugar, 6 cups of bread flour, 1 teaspoon dry yeast

She just mixes everything up till well blended. Rest it in a big bowl, with a tea towel cover, until it doubles in size for about 1 hour. Then, she comes back to it to shape it up and lay it on a baking tray. Rest it for another half an hour, covered with tea towel. Finally, bake it for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven. Done

Some chopped garden herbs like sage, thyme were added for a variation of flavour...no, there's no artichoke in this bread...it's named only for the artichoke look.

It's an easy way of baking creative bread. We had great fun and I think we will do it again and again.

Yours
