When gardening days are here...it's just so difficult to plan for meals...but fortunately, my team are not really fussy...they just appreciate everything I come up with...honestly, they won't mind eating toasted bread if they're hungry but I think I owe them a healthy meal each day.
Busy days call for quick one meal dish. So, a Roti bread and curry is just a good deal for me.
Unfortunately, as I'm tied with other chores...all I came up was 8 pieces of roti...I know everyone loves to have a bit more...but for today...less will just have to be OK.
One pot curry meal is just a good accompaniment to this roti bread.
Eating the meal together outside in the bright sunshine is even better... it was our family quick lunch for the day. Then, everyone went back to their individual chore and responsibility for the day after that, until the next meal when we get together again before the day is over.
I'm grateful for each day when we can eat meals together as a family:)
Yours,
What a delicious and flavorful meal , Annie ! And best eaten outside :D Love your yummy blue LC !
ReplyDeleteWe're just taking advantage of the season when it is still nice to eat outside...soon we have to go undercover from the fierce sun !! I think LC is a good investment...but only for the young and strong :0
DeleteThe roti bread is like flat bread or nan? It looks delicious and I love curry. Your message of gratefulness for having meal as family is very touching. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure of what I'm really eating sometimes ;P I think the roti bread is the same as a flat bread or nan...its just flour with a bit of oil, water and salt...pan fried lightly. It goes very well with curry:)
DeleteOh my, one of my favorite meals! I'm so hungry now!
ReplyDeleteManuela, it's time to take a break from your beautiful garden and enjoy a lovely meal therein:)
