Beauty of an old village

Dear Family & Friends

This holiday season is mostly observed worldwide, whether you celebrate it or not. Most people have holiday breaks...I guess it's a good time to do so while opportunity presents itself.

There's so many nice places that we could drive to not far from where we live. I will take you there today.

This old village doesn't have any shopping malls... but  look how attractive their portable shops are!

Bulgaria is known as the Balkans, meaning mountains...obviously because it's surrounded by mountains:)

Where there's lots of mountains, there's lots of evergreen trees too.

Most of these rural places are unspoilt and undeveloped for tourism. Nature in true form:)

We love old towns where it's quiet, peaceful and old architectural houses are beautiful! Mind the cobbled streets...it's not stilletto friendly.

Even shop things on for sale are mostly homemade: Jam, compote, dried herbs etc... how cool is that!
Next time we take a short family day trip, I will remember to share with you some of the small things we enjoy as a family.

Hope you have a lovely day and most of all enjoy it with the people around you too:)

Yours
