Our First Barn-house

 Dear Family & Friends

Many times, we think back of the many decisions we had made in our lives...some seems crazy but somehow it all pulled through.

When we saw this village property...we wondered what made us paid for it. It is ONLY for the brave! Yes, it was cheap... but the main house itself was under unfinished-attempted-rennovation! The garden was overgrown and abandoned, but with secured walls all around. It was big enough for a novice family even though we know not much about gardening!!...but we thought that will do! Then, there was this barn in the corner of the garden...

We never had a barn before, not even a small ugly one.  Although we were not sure whether this will continue on standing - structure wise! But yes, we were excited to have this one. We said to each other: "POTENTIAL"  :O

After working on the main house first, slowly we managed to work on the garden and that includes this barn. Now it is a more decent place...credits mostly to my husband who is always willing to work and learn. Yes, we still think we haven't come to the "potential" that it could be...but it will evolve in time....

Coming to this country and this new home, we have done and learned a lot...it has not been always easy, but we were happy to go through it, and it has given us more character to stand in our lives. By now, we are very sure that we prefer country living.

Let's appreciate all challenges that life brings now and again:)

Yours,

  4. Hi Annie,

You reminded me of the movie, We bought a zoo by Matt Damon. I'm a strong believer of tough times make us stronger and glad that you improved your barn house so well :D
